Dear Mr Clark and Lord Tim Clement Jones,
Under the heading, "Motivations," researchers Naomi Creutzfeldt and Chris Gill found that,
"Participants were motivated to set up their website and pursue campaigning work by a strong sense of injustice....combined with a desire to help others who had found themselves in a similar situation."
Q. Lord Tim Clement Jones, when an Ombudsman's arrives at decisions in an illogical manner isn't this unjust and doesn't it explain why many complainants are so dissatisfied with your, "best efforts?"
"Some participants said they saw their role as redressing the imbalance of power between complainants and ombudsman schemes through the provision of information online."
Q. Lord Tim Clement Jones, why do you provide so little information on your resolution of property complaints?
Q. Lord Tim Clement Jones, why have your Annual Property Reports gone from 8 pages in 2009/10 to just 2 in 2016 where is the information and accountability?
"In addition to providing information and campaigning for change, a strong motivation noted by participants was to act as a form of accountability."
Q. Lord Tim Clement Jones, instead of the RICS having a Memorandum of Understaning with their company - OS:Property, shouldn't online citizen activists have have one instead?
"As noted above, they perceived a lack of accountability to be (the) key problem with the ombudsman system."
Q. Mr Clark, your department has a close and continuing relationship with this private redress scheme, how do you account for its lack of accountability?
