Dear Yvonne Fovargue MP, In light of the terrible and wholly unacceptable events documented in: Mr Bates vs The Post Office and the outstanding contribution made by the then James Arbuthnot MP - now Lord Arbuthnot - we would ask you once again to use your influence in Parliament to call you a public inquiry into Ombudsman Services and the role of its former CEO, The Rev Lewis Shand Smith. A close study of; DJS Research's Customer Satisfaction Reports and Martin Lewis's Sharper Teeth: The Consumer Need For Ombudsman Reform would indicate that around 4800 complainants were denied justice due to a combination of the property ombudsman "arriving at decisions in an illogical manner" (DJS Research), maladministration (The Independent Assessor) and pressure from The RICS (RICS Board Members/MoU).
